You may have never heard what God promised to the woman in the Garden of Eden. That’s because many translations have turned the words into a virtual curse.
Here is what God actually promised the woman in the original Hebrew words of line one in Genesis 3:16! There was bad news and good news.
I will bring about these two things.
1. ‘itsabon. I will curse the earth because of the man. It will result in “sorrowful-toil” for each of you.
and
2. heron. I have informed the tempter that offspring of yours will crush him. I promise you “conception” of that offspring.
